Whiz-RESTORE
Whiz-RESTORE is a free tool that allows you in a single click to transfer and restore a save file from your computer to your System i .

The archive contains a directory called Whiz-RESTORE. Extract it anywhere on your Computer to install it.
WARNING : Depending on your computer, an upgrade or an installation of Java may be required for the tool to work. Click here to download the last release of Java.
HOW IT WORKS
Double click the file Whiz-RESTORE.jar to open the tool interface.
All fields are mandatory.
File to restore
This is the file that will be transfered and restored to the System i.
Click on the “File to restore” button to browse your computer and select a valid Save File to transfer or type the path of the file in the adjacent field.
System i IP address/Host name
Enter a valid IP address or Host name to connect to the System i.
Your computer must have network access to the System i and must be allowed FTP communication with it in order for the tool to work.
User
Enter a valid user with restore privileges to connect to the System i.
Password
Enter the password of the User.
You can either save or not the password for the next time you launch the tool by selecting or not the Save checkbox.
Restore Library
The System i library in which the Save File will be restored.
All existing files in the restore library will be overwritten by the ones of the Save File upon restore. (MBROPT=*ALL, ALWOBJDIF=*ALL)
Click on the "Restore" button to execute the tool.
If any field is missing or if any mistakes were made during the input, an error message will be displayed.
During the process, you will see your cursor in “Wait Mode” when you hover it over the tool window.
When the process is done, a log is displayed with each step of the tool process detailed.
You can also save and transfer a library from the System i to your computer using the tool Whiz-SAVE.
