Whiz-LIST-SAVE
Whiz-LIST-SAVE is a free tool that allows you to save a list of libraries from your System i in as many Save Files (*SAVF) and transfer them to your Computer via FTP protocol in a single click.

The archive contains a directory called Whiz-LIST-SAVE. Extract it anywhere on your Computer to install it.
WARNING : Depending on your computer, an upgrade or an installation of Java may be required for the tool to work. Click here to download the last release of Java.
HOW IT WORKS
Double click the file Whiz-LIST-SAVE.jar to open the tool interface.
All fields are mandatory.
Library list file
This file must contain the list of libraries that will be saved and transfered to your computer.
Each library must be separated by a Carriage Return/Line Feed (CR/LF).
Click on the “Library list file” button to browse your computer and select the file or type the path of the file in the adjacent field.
System i IP address/Host name
Enter a valid IP address or Host name to connect to the System i.
Your computer must have network access to the System i and must be allowed FTP communication with it in order for the tool to work.
User
Enter a valid user with save privileges to connect to the System i.
Password
Enter the password of the User.
You can either save or not the password for the next time you launch the tool by selecting or not the Save checkbox.
Target directory
This is the directory of your computer in which each library will be transfered as a Save File (.savf).
Click on the “Target directory” button to browse your computer and select a directory or type the path of the directory in the adjacent field.
Target release (TGTRLS) for Save File
Specify the target release of the Save Files that will be created and transfered on your computer. Must be *CURRENT or a valid target release value (VxRyMz).
Click on the "Save" button to execute the tool.
If any field is missing or if any mistakes were made during the input, an error message will be displayed.
During the process, you will see your cursor in “Wait Mode” when you hover it over the tool window.
When the process is done, a log is displayed with each step of the tool process detailed.
You can then transfer and restore the resulting Save Files to any System i using the tool Whiz-LIST-RESTORE.
